XAware - Open Source Data Integration

XAware Designer

XAware Designer is an Eclipse plug-in design tool for creating, testing, and deploying standards-compliant web services and data integration applications. The tool provides a visual, drag-and-drop design, debug, and deployment environment. Many of the features in XAware Designer are wizard-based, which expedites the development process. Services are built graphically as XML views (called BizDocuments) by combining industry standard schemas or XML data models, configurable Adapters (called BizComponents), complex conditional logic, Connectors and business rules. To learn more about XAware’s core technology, download XAware Technology Overview White Paper or view XAware Technology Overview.

Components developed with XAware Designer are reusable. For example, once you create a component for accessing a particular data set (e.g., customer file, product master, inbound XML message, outbound data feed), the same component can be used in any number of services. XAware Designer’s Component Catalog feature lists key information about each component, and automatically detects potential reusable components for a given application.
