Ecosystem – A community of open source companies that, when combined in groupings or as whole, provide a world-class enterprise architecture. There is a growing movement to create ecosystems, or alignment between key open source software companies. Customers want best of breed innovation that is the hallmark of open source, along with blending of key technologies to provide a broader, enterprise-class solution.
