Connectors

Connectors are used to provide synchronous and asynchronous connectivity from the client application to the XAware Engine as well as service or application invocation. Standards-compliant connectors are offered for SOAP / WSDL, JMS, EJB, HTTP and HTTP. A Java API is also provided to directly invoke web services or to access embedded XAware applications.

Adapters

Adapters are used to provide connectivity between the XAware Engine and backend data systems. Using XAware Designer, users can quickly configure Adapters for use in web services or integration applications. Through a wizard process, users can configure Adapters to semantically map data between source and target structures and transform data by directly applying complex logical expressions. XAware includes a broad set of adapters, which together, provide access to hundreds of data sources.  In addition, an Adapter SDK is available to create your own adapter.  XAware can also build custom adapters to meet any data connectivity needs.  Over the last 10 years, XAware has helped companies connect to almost any data source.  If you don't see your data source in the list, please contact us, as it is highly likely that we have a technology solution providing the connectivity you require.
